About the Experience
This Isn't Just a Ghost Tour. It's a Night Out with a Haunted Twist.
In July 1863, the Battle of Gettysburg left over 51,000 soldiers killed, wounded, or missing — across just three days of fighting. Acre for acre, historians and paranormal investigators consider Gettysburg the most haunted piece of ground in America, and for good reason.
As the sun sets over Gettysburg, we take you through the historic district to the taverns, inns, and street corners where those restless souls have been seen, heard, and felt for over 160 years. From the ghost of Jennie Wade — the battle’s only civilian casualty — to the phantom Confederate regiment still spotted marching down.
Whether you’re a history buff, a paranormal enthusiast, or just looking for a genuinely unique night out in Gettysburg, PA — Boos & Booze delivers all three.

Stops on the Tour
Gettysburg's Most Haunted Locations
Our route takes you through the historic district, stopping at some of the most documented haunted sites in the United States.
The Farnsworth House Inn
One of Gettysburg's most documented haunted locations. During the Battle of Gettysburg, Confederate sharpshooters fired from its attic windows — wrongly blamed for the death of civilian Jennie Wade. Today investigators report no fewer than 16 distinct spirits, including soldiers who still stomp through the attic at night and an eight-year-old boy seen in the cellar.
The Gettysburg Hotel
Built in 1797, this landmark hotel is home to Civil War nurse Rachel — seen in room 311, known for opening drawers, moving clothing, and dancing in the ballroom. Guests also regularly report the apparition of Union soldier James Culbertson in the hallways and a strong feeling of being watched while alone in their rooms after midnight.
The Jennie Wade House
The only civilian killed during the Battle of Gettysburg. On July 3, 1863, 20-year-old Jennie Wade was struck by a stray Confederate bullet while kneading bread in her kitchen. Featured on Ghost Adventures and Ghost Lab, her spirit is said to remain — visitors report unexplained cold spots, moving objects, and the faint smell of baking bread with no source.
