The Experience

What Boos and Booze is all about

Boos and Booze is Gettysburg’s original haunted pub and Civil War ghost tour experience. We take small groups of adults through the historic district of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania after dark, stopping at the town’s most haunted and atmospheric bars and taverns along the way. At each stop, your expert guide shares, documented accounts of paranormal activity and Civil War history tied directly to that location. You get a drink in hand, chilling stories in your ear, and the cobblestone streets of one of America’s most haunted cities beneath your feet. It is not a haunted house attraction. It is a genuine historical and paranormal experience combined with a great night out.

It is genuinely atmospheric and chilling rather than jump-scare terrifying. Our tours are rooted in real Civil War history, and the scale of what happened in Gettysburg in July 1863 is more unsettling than anything fiction could produce. When you hear the documented account of Jennie Wade being killed by a stray Confederate bullet while baking bread in her kitchen, or the recorded paranormal activity at the Farnsworth House Inn where 16 distinct spirits have been documented, the history itself creates the atmosphere. Guests regularly report goosebumps, chills, and moments of genuine unease. But it is never aggressive, never theatrical, and never a horror attraction.

We take the hassle out of walking around town to enjoy a tour! We’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive you from spot to spot for this one of a kind tour.
We have several stops around town at the best watering holes in Gettysburg, Pa to enjoy a signature cocktail! These stops may change and the stories told will vary from tour to tour so you’ll always have a unique experience.
The tour itself will last about 2-2.5 hours with pickup and drop off time before and after.
